Golden Mojito
Aim
To create a stunning classic Mojito with Pineapple Elixir giving it another layer of shine.
Apparatus
MuddlerBar Spoon
Highball glass
Materials
60ml Pineapple Elixir Rum
12 Fresh Mint Leaves
2 Lime Wedges
2 tsp Raw Demerara Sugar
1 Chilled Soda Water to top up
1 Sprig of fresh mint to garnish
2oz Pineapple Elixir Rum
12 Fresh Mint Leaves
2 Lime Wedges
2 tsp Raw Demerara Sugar
1 Chilled Soda Water to top up
1 Sprig of fresh mint to garnish
Method
Add lime wedges and sugar to a highball glass. (For a more citrus taste, muddle more firmly.)
Add the mint leaves and gently muddle.
Fill the glass 3/4 full with ice.
Add the Pineapple Elixir rum and stir.
Fill the remainder with ice, top-up with chilled soda water.
Garnish with a sprig of mint.
Results
A wonderfully refreshing Dirty Mojito with a hint of spice to add an extra dimension of flavour with every sip.
