To create a delicious yet potent fruity tropical punch.

Shaker
Hawthorne Strainer
Fine Mesh Strainer
Hurricane glass

Materials

60ml Pineapple Elixir
30ml 151-proof rum (We like Lemon Hart)
⅛ tsp Absinthe
60ml Pineapple Juice
60ml Freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tsp Grapefruit juice
1 tsp Grenadine
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 tsp Cinnamon syrup
2 Maraschino cherries
1 Slice of orange
1 Sprig of mint

2 Oz Pineapple Elixir
1 Oz 151-proof rum (We like Lemon Hart)
⅛ tsp Absinthe
2 Oz Pineapple Juice
2 Oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tsp Grapefruit juice
1 tsp Grenadine
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 tsp Cinnamon syrup
2 Maraschino cherries
1 Slice of orange
1 Sprig of mint

Method

Add everything except the grenadine, orange slices, maraschino cherries and sprig of mint to a shaker filled with ice and shake till chilled.
Strain into a hurricane glass then slowly pour the grenadine over the drink.
Skewer the orange slice and cherries onto a cocktail stick and garnish with the sprig of mint.

Results

A great classic tiki cocktail with lots of fruity flavours and warmth from the cinnamon and rum.
