Elixir of Glory

Aim

To create a smoky flavourful cocktail.

Apparatus

Bar Spoon
Tumbler glass
Teaspoon

Materials

  • 50ml Pineapple Elixir
  • 10ml Lagavulin 16
  • 10ml Nocino (Walnut liqueur)
  • 2 dashes Absinthe
  • 2 tsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Twist of fresh lemon peel
  • 1.7oz Pineapple Elixir
  • 0.35oz Lagavulin 16
  • 0.35oz Nocino (Walnut liqueur)
  • 2 dashes Absinthe
  • 2 tsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Twist of fresh lemon peel

Method

  1. Place a large ice cube in the Tumbler
  2. Add all of the ingredients to the glass and stir
  3. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel

Results

This cocktail combines the delicious smokiness of the Lagavulin with the smooth caramelised pineapple notes, the delicious walnut and maple syrup into a beautiful mix with a touch of the classic absinthe flavour.
