CLASSIC RUM COCKTAILS

Zombie

A great classic Tiki cocktail with lots of fruity flavours and warmth from the cinnamon and rum.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Pineapple Elixir
  • 30ml 151-proof rum (We like Lemon Hart)
  • 1/8 tsp Absinthe
  • 60ml Pineapple Juice
  • 60ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 2 tsp Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 tsp Grenadine
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
  • Maraschino Cherry
  • Orange slice to garnish
  • 2oz Pineapple Elixir
  • 1oz 151-proof rum (We like Lemon Hart)
  • 1/8 tsp Absinthe
  • 2oz Pineapple Juice
  • 2oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 2 tsp Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 tsp Grenadine
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
  • Maraschino Cherry
  • Orange slice to garnish

Method

  1. Add everything except the grenadine, orange slice, and maraschino cherry to a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until chilled.
  3. Strain into a hurricane glass then slowly pour the grenadine over the drink.
  4. Skewer the orange slice and maraschino cherry onto a cocktail stick and garnish.
