The allure of our small-batch rum is its seductive flavour. Infused with warm caramel tones and a hint of spice, you’ll experience mild fruity flavours and delicious pineapple notes throughout.

The sweetness of the pineapple is perfectly balanced with the Caribbean spices, so every drop has a hidden world of flavour – and it never tastes too sweet.

Only the highest quality ingredients are used to create this smooth and premium flavoured rum. Every element is 100% natural, with no synthetic flavours:

The ancient distilling process

Pineapple Elixir originates from authentic Demerara rum and is infused with Caribbean spices here in the UK.

Our rum is produced in Guyana by Demerara Distillers Limited. Using locally grown sugar cane molasses, they craft the rum in traditional pot and column distillation methods – which have been developed over hundreds of years.

It’s truly a rum that’s steeped in heritage, character, flavour, magic, and science.

To bring a tropical taste and give it a twist with the port float.

Apparatus

Shaker
Teaspoon
Hawthorne Strainer
Highball Glass

Materials

  • 50ml Pineapple Elixir
  • 50ml Fresh Pineapple juice
  • 30ml Fresh Passion fruit juice
  • 25ml Freshly Squeezed Lime juice
  • 5ml Passion fruit syrup
  • 2 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 10ml LBV Port Float
  • 1.7oz Pineapple Elixir
  • 1.7oz Fresh Pineapple juice
  • 1.0oz Fresh Passion fruit juice
  • 0.8oz Freshly Squeezed Lime juice
  • 0.2oz Passion fruit syrup
  • 2 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 0.4oz LBV Port Float

Method

  1. Place two teaspoons of honey into the shaker
  2. Pour in a small amount of warm water to melt it
  3. Add the remaining ingredients except the Port
  4. Add plenty of ice and shake
  5. Strain into a Highball glass
  6. Float the Port over the top. (Slowly pour the Port over the back of a spoon onto the side of the glass)
